Locksmith in Pullach

Pullach lies south of Munich on the western high bank of the Isar. It is one of the wealthiest municipalities in Germany, largely residential, and made up of three separate settlements rather than one town.

Properties here are big, set behind gates and hedges, and frequently include outbuildings — which means a single address commonly has four or five locks rather than one.

What it costs in Pullach

Pullach is in zone 3, the surrounding district, so travel is added to the opening — calculated over the whole journey by road from our premises to your address, not from the boundary onwards and not as a flat rate for the municipality. Within a single municipality the routes often differ by several kilometres, so a flat rate would either overcharge you or be unsustainable for us. The calculator shows the amount as its own line.

Google address check
For address suggestions and — only for addresses in zone 3 — for calculating the road distance, the address you enter is transmitted to Google Ireland Limited. Details are in our privacy policy.

The address decides the zone, and the zone is decided by its postcode. In Munich zones 1 and 2 travel is included; in zone 3 we calculate it from the actual driving distance.

Where Pullach is

Pullach sits south of Munich on the western high bank of the Isar. The main village gathers around the Kirchplatz and the church of St. Margaretha. Höllriegelskreuth lies to the north with its own S-Bahn station; Großhesselohe lies northeast by the river, known for the bridge that carries the railway high across the valley. The main routes are the Wolfratshauser Straße, the Habenschadenstraße and the Gistlstraße. East of the built-up area the ground falls away steeply to the Isar and its woods; Baierbrunn adjoins to the west and Grünwald lies across the valley to the east.

What the buildings are like

Predominantly villas and generously sized detached houses on extensive plots, a considerable share from between 1900 and 1970, supplemented by elaborate newer building. The most substantial properties stand along the high bank with views across the valley, several with extensive grounds. Many include outbuildings — garden houses, tool sheds, garage blocks — each with its own lock, and those are frequently much simpler than the front door. Höllriegelskreuth has smaller buildings and some apartment blocks near the station.

Getting to you

Pullach is reached by the Wolfratshauser Straße and the connection towards Solln, with the approach from Munich running along the southern edge of the city. Along the high bank the streets wind and the plots are large, so house numbers are frequently unreadable from the road, particularly after dark. Parking is never an issue. What helps is a description of the entrance — which side, what the gate looks like, whether there is a bell at the gate or only at the house.

What we are usually called for in Pullach

  • Front doors of villas with security cylinders and protective escutcheons
  • Garden houses, tool sheds and secondary entrances with simple locks
  • Garage doors on extensive plots
  • Advice on burglary protection at terrace and garden access points
  • Flats in the smaller buildings in Höllriegelskreuth

Questions from Pullach

The garden house and the shed have much simpler locks than the house. Does that matter?

More than people expect, and it is worth saying plainly. On a large plot the weakest lock is often on an outbuilding, and what is stored there — tools, ladders, garden equipment — is exactly what makes forcing the house easier. Upgrading a shed lock costs very little and closes a gap that no amount of investment in the front door addresses. We would rather point at that than sell you a stronger house cylinder.

How will you find the house? The numbers are not visible from the road.

By asking, which we do more here than almost anywhere. Give the house number and then describe the entrance: which side of the road, what the gate looks like, whether the drive is shared, whether a light is on. Along the high bank the streets wind and the hedges are tall. A photograph of the gate on WhatsApp settles it completely and takes ten seconds.

Is Höllriegelskreuth part of Pullach?

Yes, as is Großhesselohe — three settlements in one municipality, with open ground and woodland between them. That matters for the journey rather than for anything else: Höllriegelskreuth in the north is a different distance from the main village. Travel is calculated from the actual road distance to your address, so the calculator handles it once you give a street and house number.
