What this website does not do

Worth stating plainly, because the opposite has become the norm and you may be expecting it.

  • No tracking or analytics. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmaps, no A/B testing tools.
  • No cookies beyond what the server needs to deliver a page. Nothing is stored on your device to recognise you later.
  • No consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. If this site ever needs one, it will be because something changed — and that change would be described here.
  • No external fonts or scripts. Typefaces are served from this domain rather than from Google Fonts, so no request goes to a third party merely because you opened a page.
  • No embedded WhatsApp widget. The WhatsApp button is an ordinary link. No Meta code runs when you load the page, and no data goes to Meta unless you actually tap it.
  • No social media embeds, no comment systems, no third-party chat.

Server log files

Our hosting provider automatically records data your browser transmits when you request a page: the page requested, the time, the amount of data transferred, the referring page, browser type and version, operating system, and the requesting IP address. This is technically necessary to deliver the site and to detect abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website.

These logs are not merged with other data sources and are not used to identify individuals.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Limited , 61 Lordou Vironos Street , 6023 Larnaca , Cyprus. The servers used are located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. pending data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR

Contacting us

If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, the data you provide is processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any resulting job. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures and contract performance, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries.

On WhatsApp specifically: if you write to us there, the message runs through WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. as part of the Meta group, under their terms rather than ours. We have no influence over that processing. If you would rather not use it, call or email instead — that is why both are listed everywhere the WhatsApp button appears.

Google-assisted address check and travel distance

What it is, and that it is voluntary

The price calculator offers an optional, Google-assisted address check. It makes entering the address easier and — only for addresses in zone 3 — allows the actual road distance to be calculated.

We use these Google Maps Platform services for it:

  • Places API (New) — Autocomplete
  • Places API (New) — Place Details
  • Routes API — Compute Routes

Loading this website and opening the calculator establishes no connection to the Google Maps Platform. The address check is activated only after you explicitly select “Enable Google address check” in the calculator.

Using it is voluntary. You can continue without Google and ask for the price by telephone or through the other contact options on this site. Declining or withdrawing consent has no adverse effect on your ability to contact or instruct us.

Data processed

After activation, the following may be processed and transmitted to the Google entities responsible for the Google Maps Platform:

  • the partial address you type
  • the full address you select
  • postcode, town, street and house number
  • a Place ID provided by Google
  • a technically required autocomplete session token
  • the request parameters needed for the address check and route calculation
  • connection and server data arising for technical reasons

Not transmitted to Google: your name, telephone number, e-mail address, the state of the door, the service selected, payment details, or any other information about your situation.

Purposes and how the zone is determined

  • showing matching address suggestions
  • completing and technically verifying the address
  • checking postcode and town
  • assigning the address to one of the postcode zones held in the calculator
  • calculating the actual road distance for addresses in zone 3
  • calculating and displaying the resulting travel cost

The zone is determined from internally held postcodes and, where needed, the town name. There is no point-in-polygon calculation and no coordinate-based assignment to the Mittlerer Ring or the Munich city boundary.

For addresses in zones 1 and 2, no route is calculated at Google.

Only for a confirmed address in zone 3 is the full road distance calculated via the Google Routes API, between an internally held starting point and the address. Only the distance needed for the price display, or the amount derived from it, is returned to the browser. The internal starting point is neither published as a business address nor sent to the browser.

Legal basis

The legal basis is your explicit consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future by selecting “Disable Google address check” in the calculator, or by reloading the page or ending the session. After that, no further address or route requests are made to Google, and any suggestions already shown are removed. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal is unaffected.

Recipients

Recipients are the Google entities responsible under the existing Google Cloud agreement — in particular Google Cloud EMEA Limited (Ireland) as the contracting entity, Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) as the end controller named by Google, and Google LLC together with affiliated Google companies where they are involved in providing the service. Google may process the transmitted data under its own controllership.

Processing outside the EEA

Processing outside the European Union or the European Economic Area — in particular in the United States — cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework according to the US Department of Commerce. Where that framework does not apply, Google states that it uses the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.

Retention and data minimisation

The address you enter, the suggestions, the Place ID, any address details received and the route calculated for you are not stored permanently by us and are not reused for other customers. They are processed only for the duration of the address and price calculation. In particular, the address and route data are not stored in cookies, in local or session storage, in URL parameters, in web analytics, or in a permanent route cache.

Google may process data according to its own privacy, security and retention rules. We have no direct influence over how long Google retains it.

Whether you have to provide it

Providing the address for the Google-assisted check is neither a legal nor a contractual requirement. Without it, the calculator may not be able to produce an address-dependent final price for zone 3. You can ask for the correct price by telephone or through our other contact options at any time.

pending Final legal review of these statements, and written confirmation from Google that transmission via our own proxy is permitted

Your rights

You have the right, at any time and free of charge, to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • have data erased where no retention obligation applies (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • have processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • withdraw consent with effect for the future, where you gave it

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Bavaria this is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht in Ansbach.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as statutory retention obligations require. German commercial and tax law requires invoices and related records to be kept for defined periods — typically several years — which applies regardless of any erasure request.

Records of building entrance door openings, which document the client and the type of authorisation shown, are kept because they protect both sides in the event of a later question about who was let in and on what basis.

Changes

We update this notice when the site or our processing changes — for example when the routing provider is chosen and put into operation. The current version always applies.
